South Fork Lake Creek Road - Conditions?
Does anyone know about current conditions on this road? Or other salient info about it? Not finding anything particularly current…. TIA!
Re: South Fork Lake Creek Road - Conditions?
I have not been up there this season, but last season approximately June 25th, I was able to drive up past the Peakaboo Gulch turnoff, basically all the way to the TH for Booby Prize/Lake Fork Peak at 11k. Creek crossing was deep and not subaru-able. Road was packed with willows and even the skinniest of vehicles will get pinstriped, if you care about that sort of thing
I thought, I taught, I wrought

Addendum; we were able to get a subaru up a bit past the Grizzly turnoff, but it was slow going. Lots of deep potholes.
Also, at least when I was there, lots of people out camping, a fair amount of gun shooting and general shennanigans of that nature.
