French Pass TH to Breckenridge
I'm going to be camping with my family near Jefferson in the coming weeks. After our trip, we're meeting up with extended family in Breckenridge -- works out that some of them are willing to drive near where we're camping and pick up our (young) kids so we can do some hiking on our own. I love being able to do "one-way" hikes, so my plan was to take the French Pass trail up and over to where it runs into a county road, then walk down the road to Sally Barber (road / trail?), then down into Breckenridge. The route seems very simply on paper, but I know the roads back in there can be confusing sometimes. I wouldn't really be concerned about being a little late if we get confused, but our youngest is only 1.5yrs, so there is some pressure to be on time - anyone have any thoughts on "making the right turns" to get off of the French Gulch trail and onto Sally Barber? Thx!
