There are a good number of unranked and unnamed peaks listed here and on LoJ. There are 727 ranked, soft-ranked, or officially named 13ers. This site lists 40 additional 13ers and 15 additional 14ers. Noname Needle, The Prow, Sunlight Spire, etc. are not official names. The number of unranked and unnamed peaks listed on LoJ is growing (Yahoo Peak, Ominous Pinnacle, etc.) while the list here has been fairly stable for a while.

Sounds like Kiefer did: "We contoured around the nunatak which, by the way can be had for an incredibly low price of only 4th class! Just be sure to retrace your steps. The western edge (facing Capitol) would make for a very spicy down climb or awkward repel."

I unsuccessfully tried climbing this thing and got curious about if any beta exists which led me to finding this old thread. I got to within 50 feet of the summit via some ledges on the south side that took me over to the eastern slope/ridge. The very top had some really loose looking flakes and I just didn't have a good feeling about being up there. I would agree with the class 4 rating, but it felt like a decent step up from the standard Capitol route that I had done just a couple of hours earlier. It is quite an attractive little point in a beautiful place though.

Sounds like it was trained off Boggy B's 2020 post in this thread where he said FOTM was obsessed with it. Swing and a miss on the FOTM expansion.
