Re: My 14er record attempt
For what it is worth I have been playing with the numbers and he can go easy today, take some time after the elks to rest and then push at a fairly hard pace through the Sawatch and Front Range and still crush the record. I am not worried. Homie is just resting for a big day tomorrow (I hope). Go Homie Go!!!

Well, if he has time to play with, he should hit the Mt. Princeton Hot Springs and take a well-deserved soak.its_not_a_tuba wrote:For what it is worth I have been playing with the numbers and he can go easy today, take some time after the elks to rest and then push at a fairly hard pace through the Sawatch and Front Range and still crush the record. There are nice restroom facilities at this TH, he is just catching up on the last couple days' papers.

I thought the consensus was that was best done on the top of the mountain?

He deserves to, but there’s the risk he could swell and not be able to move.inthemtns wrote: Well, if he has time to play with, he should hit the Mt. Princeton Hot Springs and take a well-deserved soak.

It's over... Homie is done. Too much pain. Tool slow.
A lot more of my thoughts later, but thanks for everyone for now.
