What an amazing journey and what an inspiration you have been!
I tried to stay up late last night and watch the entire event...I saw you summit, but didn't get to see the final time post. I had to be at work at 6:00am this morning and I was very tired...however, I think I'm in the wrong forum to be getting any sympathy for that!
Thanks again!

What an honor it has been to follow your progress as you succeeded in obliterating a record that many - myself included - thought never would fall. The endurance and persistence you've shown displays the strength of the human spirit pushed to its limits. While none of us can imagine even attempting the incredible mental and physical feat you've just completed, your journey over the past 9 days has inspired us. I'm no Andrew Hamilton, but maybe I can push a little faster - a little further - in my own endeavors knowing what you have done.
Thank you.
You cannot stay on the summit forever; you have to come down again. So why bother in the first place? Just this: What is above knows what is below, but what is below does not know what is above. One climbs, one sees. One descends, one sees no longer, but one has seen. There is an art of conducting oneself in the lower regions by the memory of what one saw higher up. When one can no longer see, one can at least still know. - Rene Daumal
