Kudos to the eight Sawtooth heroes, whose courage and self-sacrifice have won the day!

This great news made my day! For all of our differences (and occasional arguments), 14ers.com is full of wild and crazy, not to mention compassionate and brave, people.

Yay!!!!!!!!! Thank you, thank you to all of the rescuers! You are all true heroes.

While there have been several other happy moments on the forum, this is an especially bright one that will stand out among them! Well done by all participants!

So, so happy for this outcome. Leaving your pet on a mountainside is one thing, but to not seek help. Just not humane.

Happy conclusion! I'm "interested" in why the Dog's custodians decided to leave her behind, but then I'm really not.

Honestly, just amazing. :)

I have a pup of my own, and I regretted ever even clicking on the thread with the mentality that it was going to turn out in a way that I didn't to see or read.

Great job, all, and amazing work by everyone involved.

I can only assume updates will continue to trickle in, regarding ownership, news stories, etc. Hopefully!!!

Thank you everyone for your help and support in finding this dog. When Scott and I found this dog, we weren't really sure how to get her help and it has only been made possible through this forum and non profit dog rescue organizations like Animal Help Now and the Colorado Rescue. Everyone who participated in the rescue today has my eternal gratitude and respect. I am happy that she is healthy and safe.

When she is back from the vet, we will post some photos to show her progress. I think this dog has a great future with someone from the rescue team.

Thank you all again!

This is so fantastic. I really feared the worst on this one and am totally blown away by what I have read over the past few days. So glad this turned out the way it did. Bravo!
