EDIT: I sent semitrueskerm a PM, giving him your phone number, in the event neither of you see this. I also told him that since THE CAVE DOG wore his headlamp, that he should auction it on here and donate the proceeds to CFI.

Following up on that theme, I certainly don't want to try to obligate Andrew in any way, but would it be possible perhaps for him to donate some small item that was used in his successful FKT outing? That item could then be auctioned, perhaps on 14ers.com, and the proceeds sent to CFI. On the other hand, if he wants to keep everything from the attempt, that is totally his choice and no one would fault him. Just a suggestion.

It was an absolute privilege to be able to cheer Andrew on at the finish line last night and share in the glory with the support team! What an amazing group. Andrew - thanks for keeping the 14er stoke high and continuing to push the limits of what's humanly possible. You've inspired me to take on my own "mini-Hamilton challenge" this year.

The old US Army slogan "We do more before 9 AM than most people do all day" seems somehow very inadequate after this! Well...it does say "most people" and Andrew is definitely not most.
