"Gen x doesn't really exist"? That is probably just our 'tude that sucks, here is what Tom Waits (not X-er himself) had to say about it:

"Apparently the highest compliment our culture grants artists nowadays is to be in an ad -- ideally naked and purring on the hood of a new car. I have adamantly and repeatedly refused this dubious honor."

...and not a single one of these will ever get near a dirt road. Owners just want to look cool driving down I-25.

And that they will! Better yet. Tooling around LoDo or bar-hopping at popular tourist "mountain" towns. Style, baby.

it's hard to tell, but I'm guess it won't be long enough to sleep in the back?

If you are hobbit size it might sleep you well.

I’m really digging it. I’ve yet to own anything without a clutch pedal in my 27 years of driving, so glad to see the 7 speed manual. I generally have only owned Honda’s and Mazda’s because I like vehicles that don’t break much and aren’t expensive to maintain, but I may be looking at one of these in 2024 when some 3 year leases are up. I can’t stomach the depreciation of a brand new car.

My last 2 company vehicles have been Ford Fusions, and they held up really well. Had a 2010 that went to 110,000 miles only needing 1 repair, current Fusion is a 2016, it’s got 111k miles and has never been in the shop. Anecdotal, but modern Fords seem to be well built.

I wish Ford hadn't screwed up so badly on the Ranger. I'd love to replace my 1996 Ranger with a new one, but they suck. At least it looks like they got the Bronco right. Maybe they will roll out a truck version down the road a la the Gladiator, not holding my breath on that one though.

If it's not an Xterra, it's not worth the money.

When FJ cruiser drivers try to wave I just hang my nose up in the air as high as I can. Just like the LX460, the FJ is not a real landcruiser.
I think you mean GX460, and in other markets, you know what they're called? Land Cruiser Prado. Sure, they're not a 80/100/200 series Cruiser, but they're not a 4Runner or FJ Cruiser either.
