Thank you so much! You nailed it: Snowmass' West Slopes, both the ascent and descent, did me in. I'm almost positive I fractured my foot at the top of the down-climb (I fell a few feet after putting my weight on a large, loose boulder) but was too stubborn to actually get an x-ray. It derailed me from finishing last year! A lot of people seem to be a fan of S-Ridge—I'd honestly be happy simply to go back and camp at Geneva Lake in peak-wildflower season.

Congratulations on finishing! And on only hitting Como Road once! And only hitting SCL three times (a chickened-out attempt at Crestone Peak meant I needed to deal with it four times )! And finishing on my own favorite fourteener! Now go enjoy hiking things because you actually want to hike them whether or not they’re on some checklist or another!

I don't know why everyone told me San Luis was so boring—I thought the trail from Creede was absolutely stunning; that class 1 peak was SO wonderful after two straight years of the tough stuff! Hoping to see you at one of these meet-ups again soon.

After working on list after list, I've finally just made a big grab-bag of fun scrambles (maybe 200+ peaks that I don't have any intention of completely finishing, though that would obviously be cool) for me to pick through. It's definitely freeing to be able to do whatever sort of hike/climb you want without actively trying to complete a list.

Thank you so much! That pesky full-time job really got in the way throughout my entire journey.

I love the idea of choosing to hike and climb whatever it is you want as opposed to siloing yourself within a single list and feeling the pressure it comes with it. (Looking at your lists and accomplishments, it looks like you've had a lot of fun!) Fun is the main goal from now on.
