2014 14er Speed Record Attempt

Yeah its the NW face route, nice gulley, pretty solid rock. I would MUCH prefer doing that route dry vs an icy/snowy Hourglass having done them both.

I'm curious if he actually missed Blanca or if it was a GPS error. Wouldn't surprise me if he did, as I'm gonna assume he retags Blanca, descends the Gash to Lindsey, that would save him a TON of time on Cave Dog who did Lindsey separately if I recall.

Descend the gash? Are you nuts? He will go down the south ridge. Homie did the same thing I believe. It's the most practical and quickest way to link Lindsey from there.

There was an earlier post by Andrew's wife indicating that the plan was to descend via Gash Ridge. Homie returned to Como Lake in 2012 due to his injured foot, but he is apparently joining Andrew on the Gash this evening.

LOL. It's all good Eric. I didn't really mean for my post to come off as highbrow or anything, reading it a second time I might have come off as kind of a jerk, didn't mean it that way.

No worries, but with all that, it sure looks like he's doing the Gash to me.
