I take lots of pics of summit registers! Including of my own entries. Mostly down here in the Southwest, since they are almost universal on desert summits. In recent years, registers on Colorado summits are the exception, not the rule.

Notably, I've seen the names of Gerry & Jennifer Roach in a lot of desert summit registers. :) Here's one that they (and their dog!) actually placed, on Little Virgin Peak in Gold Butte National Monument, NV:

Back in the day, apparently some people WANTED other summiters to track them down and make contact!

Here are just two of many similar messages in an old (earliest entries dated from 1948!) register I found on Billy Goat Peak in Nevada:

For d_baker

My Grandson and I climbed James Peak on 7-9-18. We found a different kind of wooden box with Rite in the Rain journals to write your plans and experience of the summer.

I don't have a picture, but sometime in the '80's. I signed a register below Spencer Swanger on, of all places, Mt. Sherman. This was an April ascent, just my second non-summer 14er (first was Bierstadt).

I think I recognize that second register. Eastern summit of Dark Mountain? I signed it in 2012, but remember that yellow grid paper and that it was placed in 1992.

Quite a few people have posted about the Cataract Peak summit register in their trip reports. Here you go some familiar names.

My name has to be in that Cataract summit register.

I've been Garratted several times. Most recently this weekend. Roached, Kirked and Cooneyed a bunch too. I really should start carrying some registers myself.

All I have is this tiny napkin & jar.jpg

Stalking mode.....just an interesting winter summit, coming from 580B, which I can't help but wonder if it was a day trip or from a winter camp?? Boggy always impresses me!
