Pretty inspirational to read so many of these goals! I didn't post any last year, but will do so now, with hopes of some self-accountability.
-Hike another 14er with my 5 yr old son
-Get in a backpacking trip with son. (Chicago Basin?)
-Ski 40 days (20 BC, 20 Ikon)
-Ski 5 14ers
-Ski the Grand
-Ski the Skillet on Moran
-Hike some 13ers (10+)
-Do a weeklong sailboat bareboat charter
Good luck everyone and enjoy the holidays!

Re: 2021 Goals
Because I did Capitol 4x in 2020, il have to shoot for more times in 2021, lol my biggest goal is to get a climbing helmet so I don't have to use my snowboarding one. Also,
Climb Everest and K2. Might as well aim high right?

Re: 2021 Goals
Having just had twin boys this past August I'll be happy to hit any of the goals below!
1) 15 new 13ers
2) 50k
3) 50mi
4) Complete the grand slam during Troutman/Woman with friends
5) Resurrecting date night post newborn phase - whatever that might look like in 2021
6) Buy one of those oversized tents that I never thought I'd own and do a few camping trips with the tots. Hopefully that won't end in tears for them or us!

Re: 2021 Goals
New transplant to CO so have a lot to do/figure out.
1. Get a basic handle on the geography of the state (ranges, major peaks, major routes, etc)
2. Do some more 14ers. Other than Longs no real specific goals here, probably just hit whatever looks interesting and/or convenient.
3. Join a climbing gym (not until after getting a good COVID vaccine) to work on basic skills to improve my class 3 and above safety and endurance.
4. Do some of the classic ridges (Sawtooth/Tour D'Abyss, Kelso, Ellingwood, etc)
5. Spend lots of time off trail/scrambling
6. When safe to travel, hopefully get back to SoCal in the fall for an unfinished project, a double ascent of San Jacinto via two off trail routes.
7. Make some attempt to overcome my asocial tendencies and get out with other people to learn from them and dip a toe into the real world community instead of just the online side.
8. Maybe run a 100 miler.

Re: 2021 Goals
I've figured out that much so far! I drove across the state on I-70 moving from CA to MD/VA, it sure was depressing once I passed through Denver and kept going east. On the plus side, moving here from VA it was a great feeling when after driving through all of KS I finally saw real mountains again!
edit: One more goal is to not let winter keep me from getting out!
