Not in Colorado, but a nice sunset picture I took above the clouds from the summit of Denali this past June.

Me too. Compared to sunrise, the light at sunset seems softer and lingers for longer as it cascades through warm hues of color before darkening.

I enjoyed a good sunset recently on the Gore Range.

Yes it is. I was camping the evening before my first hike into the Gore Range. I studied maps looking for a good vantage on sunset that wouldn't require a long hike or drive. And did that small bet pay off. I can't think of a better introduction to the exquisite joys of the Gore than that sunset.

And George, those are some cool pics. That first one could be taken from some hyper-surreal Dario Argento remake of The Birds.

Returned to Shrine Pass and the Gore this past weekend. Parked at the pass, hiked through the trees. And was treated to another great sunset.
