I understand that the road is closed 4 miles below Missouri Gulch TH.

rpdawes--Did you experience that firsthand, or are you assuming that based on standard winter closure?

Anyone else?

Just a guess based on previous experience, but I don't think the road would be closed at the standard winter closure yet. Unless there is a really big storm, you can often drive to Winfield this time of year.
I'm old, slow and fat. Unfortunately, those are my good qualities.

Scott--Definitely did not think standard winter closure was in effect.

Road turned out a-ok to Winfield. A bit of ice on first half mile to Huron 4WD. Road up Lulu Gulch covered in 2-4" powder, no ice.
