Safe to park overnight at Grays Lower Trailhead?
Has anyone parked overnight at Grays Lower Trailhead? My daughter and I want to get a head start by camping at the dispersed sites at the Upper Trailhead the night before but I want to make sure her car (Corolla) is relatively safe overnight. Any thoughts are appreciated.

Re: Safe to park overnight at Grays Lower Trailhead?
I have parked at the upper trailhead overnight on several occasions (including last week) with no problems.
The parking lot is usually ~1/2 full by 8pm.
The parking lot by I-70 might be problematic.
I would be more worried about road clearance problems with a Corrolla if you
drive to the upper trailhead.

Maybe.
I wouldn't leave any valuables in the vehicle, though.
ETA: Are you talking about the "lower" lot at I-70?

If you're referring to the lower I-70 lot, I've left the car there 4 times from 3-4am to when I returned and it was fine, but then again it was always a rental car not anything fancy but at least the cats were still there.

Yes, lower lot at I-70. I'm sure the Corolla won't make to the upper trailhead. TBH the car is nothing special, 2010 so I'm "hoping" if nothing is in the car that it won't attract any attention.
Thanks for all the feedback!
