New winter visitation fee for Brainard Lake Recreation Area

Post by BColo »

FYI:

New fees coming to Brainard Lake Recreation Area this winter

The annual America the Beautiful pass covers the summer visitation fee; I'm hoping it'll be honored for the winter-time fee as well.

$10 fee certainly seems steep when there is no staffing, just one bathroom to maintain and one parking lot to plow...

I often get there before the road and lot has been plowed!

Wonder how they're going to enforce this fee (if it goes through). And yes, hoping the National Parks Pass still covers things!
