Seeking Aspen local or hiker with a parking res willing to drop off 4 hikers at Maroon Bells on Fri, Aug 9?
Does anyone know a hiker with a parking reservation who is planning to be on the trail by 6am? Or an Aspen local willing to pick up 4 hikers at Aspen Highlands lot at 5.30am on Fri, Aug 9, to drop off at Maroon Bells? We're more than happy to pay. The shuttle gets us on the trail 90 mins later than we'd prefer.

A parking permit should not be difficult to get. 10 spots are released 3 days ahead of time, it’s in the fine print on the website. If you log on at exactly the right time a permit should be very easy to get.

Thank you for your suggestion, Patrick. I really appreciate it. Unfortunately, the fine print for Maroon Bells parking reservations excludes opening up parking reservations 3 days in advance for the Overnight Parking (48 hours) option. They only open up 10 spaces 3-days in advance for Day Visit, Evening Visit, and Midnight to Midnight parking reservations. We're hiking over to CB on Fri, Aug 9 and back to Aspen on Sat, Aug 10, which exceeds the Midnight to Midnight parking time limit.

Park in CB and do the route in reverse, then your parking problems are solved.ltotheg003 wrote: ↑Thu Aug 01, 2024 1:35 pm We're hiking over to CB on Fri, Aug 9 and back to Aspen on Sat, Aug 10, which exceeds the Midnight to Midnight parking time limit.

Thanks for all the ideas, folks. And, we just learned all our shuttle reservations on the CB side are nonrefundable anyway, so we just have to stick with our original late departure from Aspen and later arrival into CB than we'd hoped. What a great group to be connected with though! I appreciate your input!
