Condition Update

The Horn Creek trail is almost entirely dry with exception of one or two muddy spots. There's a lot of deadfall though. At the creek crossing where one must rock hop across we took the trail left up an eroding hillside through willows. This leads to the lowest of the Horn Lakes. From there we went directly up the hillside to the ridge Little Baldy is on. This hillside was overall not too bad, generally not crazy steep and mostly stable grassy hummocky type stuff. On the ridge crest there's some crummy rock going up Little Baldy but it's all Class 2+ or easier. The ridge from Little Baldy to 13,517 B is better than it looks. Not super long, not a lot of elevation gain, stable rock, Class 2+ at worst in a spot or two. 4,500+ vert but easy.
