Mt. Sheridan is in great shape for a ride or ski (much like Sherman). Trailhead parking area is still ~11,025 ft., but more vehicles trying to push through the initial snow bank will help that. I skinned into the basin using the normal 4x4 road, then made a direct line for Mt. Sheridan off the road. Snow coverage is great through the entire basin. I was able to skin up to the exposed rocks just under the summit (i.e. the standard summer route) and then hike up to the top. The snow was very firm off the summit, due to the cold temps and high wind. The best turns where further down the basin where the snow was softer allowed for easy carving.
