As a total amateur, I can't compete with most of these stunning shots, but I still wanted to offer a few. Here is a storm over the Mosquito Range from the west and my friend Chad strolling between Mount Buckskin's southest and northwest summits. Thanks for sharing all of your photos!

Neil, most of us are amateurs too. It's not about competing, it's about inclusion......so please post more. This is a casual topic as I see it.....and I don't think anyone has been critiquing in an anything but positive fashion (unless that was requested by the poster to be more instructively critical). At the same time, I think we are fortunate to have a couple of professionals posting.....as well as some very advanced amateurs with a real passion for landscape photography. As you stated, so many of the shots are simply stunning.
I really like both of your shots. Each evokes a mood that I can relate to greatly. And the perspective on the mountain ridge is perfect for the contemplative posture of the climber. Nicely done.
Thanks for the kind words Mark...they are sincerely appreciated. And I agree that this is a great thread that is certainly about inclusion, a reminder which I also appreciate.

I've watched this thread for a while, and there are some pretty cool pictures. Well, I thought I'd add a couple. I went out with the intention of gathering "fall colors" and got some of these to go with it. Always nice to spice things up with some black and white!
