Re: My 14er record attempt
Ken Nolans spot always gave bad locations from El Diente, several miles off, I don't believe ever a successful one, I was waiting to see how Homies did. Seems ED is a Spot signal Bermuda Triangle. Has anyone sent a successful ED spot? I think he would have sent a check but maybe not with the bad weather, touch the top and scoot.DeucesWild wrote:He's moving faster than the ten minute interval on the tracking function. Re: My 14er record attempt
I was watching "America's Got Talent" last night and among the entrants was a guy who's "talent" was getting hit in the (groin) in a variety of ways. This is the kind of stuff people are watching. I can't stand those "reality" shows. It's too bad someone like this, with REAL talent, goes relatively un-noticed in our society. I feel like it's misplaced priorities, really.
Go Homie! Your tremendous efforts are an inspiration to us all!
UPDATE: Looks like Homie has reached the Rock of Ages Saddle, ~70 minutes after leaving the summit of Mt. Wilson.

Homie is 41 years young (though he hardly looks a day over 30).jasayrevt wrote:sorry if this is covered somewhere...not seeing it...how old is John? How old was Cave Dog when he set the record?
