Worry if it is Homie or just a computer thing.
it's not homie otherwise we'd see plots every 10 min not moving. the SPOT signal is just messing up which could be trees/terrain

Lately the Spot has been working really well on the uphills and turns off going down only to reappear at the TH. Maybe he is turning it off going down to save batteries?

How much does a SPOT weigh?

Someone should have been muling it for him. That wouldn't violate cave dog rules!

That valley/canyon coming out of Denny Creek must be hard for reception/transmission as there were no points going up either.

Add pennsylvania to the list of states following from, we are here for the next week for a wedding. I'll work it into a wedding speech.

That last Blog post was an emotional read. John's body has to be screaming at him to stop this madness. No gold medal at the end. No huge contract to be offered. No cable tv show. What makes people like John go on when 99.9 % of the people in the world would quit and never think twice about it. I will probably never meet you or any of your support staff but I don't think I will ever forget this. But for those few days in August 2012 when everything that is right about the world and an unmatched human spirit was on display in the Colorado Rockies. Soldier on my "friend"

You can add Oregon too. I hadn't updated my location so it still showed Denver.
