Paintbrush/Cascade Canyon Loop, Grand Teton National Park

Mt Whitney standard route

Swiftcurrent Pass (Logan Pass to Many Glacier), Glacier National Park

Tanque Verde Ridge, Saguaro National Park

Angel Arch/Molar Rock, Canyonlands National Park

Any pieces of the Hardrock course (or all of it, if you're Kilian)

Any pieces of the Tahoe Rim Trail

Wonderland Trail, Mt Rainier National Park (too big to do in a day though)

And of course the Colorado Trail--the sections near the San Juans/La Garitas would be my pick

Ditto on the Wonderland Trail. Since the scenery is so spectacular, don't really want to run much of it at night. 2-3 days would be somewhat leisurely.

The Barr Trail on Pikes is a classic of the highest order - iconic. Mt Whitney is similarly not to be missed. While the Wonderland is long for a day run, the Timberline, around Mt Hood, is manageable & excellent. Kalalau Trail (Na'Pali) of course.

Ute Pass to Baker's Brewery in Silverthorne is at the top of my list (currently).

Greeley to the tippy top of Longs would be neat! Just trying to figure out how to get back down without having to descend :?

I would love to do Hagerman Pass to Basalt too.

Some things are just better on bike.
I am unable to walk away from the mountain without climbing it. An unclimbed mountain tugs at my consciousness with the eternal weight of time itself. Until I've pressed my face into it's alpine winds, hugged it's ancient granite walls, and put it's weathered summit beneath my heal I'm unable to resist it's attraction.Knowing nature gives the mountain more time than she gives us adds urgency to the obsession. As has been said before; the mountain doesn't care.

It can wait forever. I cannot.

The Lenin Peak sky run is on my list. It starts at around 14,200 and finishes at 23,400ft. The Fkt is under 7 hours.

That sounds f**king terrible.

You could probably do some pretty cool loops in the Winds, such as Pole Creek --> Highline --> Pine Creek

Rim-to-Rim-to-Rim is amazing. Imogene Pass from Ouray to Telluride is fun. Still on the bucket list: Four Loop Pass; Grand Traverse (run/bike); Zion Traverse; Teton Circ.

Also, more than a day, but Collegiate Peaks Loop is epic. I haven't done it, but ran about 20 miles with a guy who did the entire 163 miles. Pretty hard core.

On a related note, has anyone ran the Teton Crest trail? It is looking really beautiful and tempting for this August.
