Looking for feedback on my Backpacking videos.

Post by mikjik86 »

Hey all,

I create backpacking videos "HikeWithMike" and have them available on my YouTube at https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCXhuWG ... 3T0IELRbgw

If you have a couple minutes, check out my short preview videos. If you have more time check out the full length videos. I would love any feedback on how I can improve my presentation in the future.

If you want more views my advice would be to become an attractive female.

But seriously, if you re-shot all of your videos but just replaced yourself with an attractive girl your views would increase 10 fold. Add a thumbnail of the girl in a bikini (doesn't matter how forced) it would be 20 fold.

I'm pretty sure the statistics on women earning 80 cents on the dollar don't account for YouTube influencers.

That is a weird and very out-of-place comment

I think they're pretty well done, man! One thing that I usually enjoy more in hiking/climbing videos is LESS music, and more commentary and natural noise. Footsteps on snow/rocks/terrain, birds and s**t. You know?

No offense personally, but I generally find other peeps hiking videos boring.
