Just finished this and can’t recommend it enough. A page turning story, at least in the second half, as well as a fascinating history of Lake Powell, the dam, and the canyon.

I agree. I found the book particularly relevant as I lived in Ticaboo, UT (10 miles N of Bullfrog Marina, Lake Powell) in 1983, the year of the fast boat ride.
