Some day our kids will study Clash lyrics in school.

I would think the dentist would encourage people NOT to floss, so as to have more business.painless4u2 wrote: ↑Thu Jan 26, 2023 5:21 pm Yes, Davey Boy, I do. They blame Mitch's death on a drug overdose, but I figure it was more likely due to heart disease exacerbated by periodontal disease, which was worsened by not flossing. So, Davey Boy, for your own heart health and in order to climb those 14ers, better floss daily!

Re: Thread ideas that didn't make the cut
Every dentist I've met definitely uses the shame approach with flossing. Sometimes I'll start flossing 10-15 days before my checkup just so I don't have to deal with the guilt trip when my gums bleed while Sally Sadist the Dental Hygienist flosses my teeth like she's sawing logs.

I try to limit my contact with the dentist/hygenist to a minimum. As a result, my routine twice a day is - brush, tongue scrape, floss, brush for 2 minutes with electric toothbrush. Happiest day of the year for me is still once I'm leaving the dentist office and knowing that the next appt is 180 days away.

I should add that to the routine. They're a Fort Collins company! Their radio ads crack me up....innovating for the last 60 years.....I think they got one great idea and have been milking it for that long.FireOnTheMountain wrote: ↑Tue Feb 28, 2023 11:05 amDude, brah, do you even waterpik bro!?12ersRule wrote: ↑Tue Feb 28, 2023 8:02 am I try to limit my contact with the dentist/hygenist to a minimum. Wow, just realized that they make shower heads too!

Please forgive my enthusiasm, I'm a bit fanatic about my showers.

Just how do you climb Fajada Butte?

It doesn't looks like simple endeavor? Yet seemingly lots of average folks get up there?
I'm obsessed with ancestral puebloans - and I've seen that robert redford documentary about it like 100 times.
