Curious if anyone else is shooting for this tomorrow - would be nice to deal / suffer with that snow with someone!

Skip the snow. When you get to it, look back behind you. You'll see a cairn up on the ridge on your right. You can climb up some easy class 3 to gain that ridge and avoid the snow altogether. You can take that ridge all the way to the top of the V-notch and skip the V entirely. I hiked it about a week ago and this was definitely the favorite amongst everyone who attempted the summit that day.

Seconded. I only descended the route a few days ago but I didn't even think to go in the snow, super easy to avoid. Honestly though the route was pretty chossy, I'd recommend the ridge on ascent and descent to just about anyone who can scramble
