lawsuit by Treasure Truther reveals the location where Fenn's treasure was found... kinda

well, that narrows it down to about 3500 square miles.

that conspiracy tho! this might just be the most boring conspiracy theory in the history of the world!

My best friend from art school does a gold hunt every year or so now, where you have to follow a series of strange clues to find a small amount of gold - just in case you wanna play the home version of Fenn's

The other guy from Alamosa who claimed to find it said it was near Treasure Falls above Pagosa Springs. He's writing a book on the treasure hunt.

We had a gold rush day at camp, hunting for nuggets scattered around (gold spray painted rocks). Exchanged for play money at the assayers, for spending in the saloon.

Thanks for the heads up on this Netflix series. There's a lot to this story that I didn't know about. If you already know the whole story, you're still in for a treat by getting to meet some of the treasure hunters and other personalities involved.

Watching it made me grateful I never tried to look for Fenn's Treasure. I would have never gotten close! I had always leaned towards thinking it was near his home in Sante Fe. That, and I would of never had the time or desire to go the Yellowstone area to search. Not quite sure about Justin Posey and his claim to have reburied the treasure, he seems to be a bit of a loon...
