Mt blue sky access
Was planning an outing on mt blue sky via echo lake and I noticed on the recreation.gov site it said that the entire recreation area is closed, while I originally thought it was just the road. Has anyone climbed blue sky this year that can provide more details on this matter?

The road is closed but the wilderness is open, Blue Sky is accessible from both Echo Lake and from Guanella Pass. Have fun!

Was just up there yesterday. Parked at Echo Lake and took the Chicago Lakes trail to Summit Lake. Had no problems. The construction crews are working on the road just past Summit Lake, so as long as you stay off the road you should be fine.
