Boreas Pass road
Good Morning. Is Boreas Pass road from Como / Fair Play - to Breckridge open today Sep 28th and how are road conditions. Please advise and thanks.

Drove yesterday yes it’s open. A bit rocky at the top with the standard affair of potholes throughout. Should be easily manageable in any SUV or greater.
Traffic will be greater than normal with leaves at peak on both sides of the pass.

Just went over Boreas Pass yesterday (Sat 9/27) coming from I-70 then Breck and continuing to Kenosha - colors are at peak throughout most of that region - very good display this year overall, despite some dry patches here and there.
Boreas Pass is easily drivable by most any vehicle but be aware it gets pretty narrow in a couple spots - vehicles sometimes waited in line to let traffic flow in one direction through the tightest areas (folks used to mountain roads can generally squeeze through but a couple spots are tight enough to spook the average driver into waving the oncoming traffic through - mostly on the Breckenridge side).
