Wish List in no particular order:
A few new bicentennials, at the minimum!

A peak collecting backpack in Weminuche. It's been several years since I've done a backpack trip!

More new-to-me 13ers.

Work toward finishing Sawatch 13ers, with 30something remaining.

Jasper snow climb. ;)
Other snow climbs as conditions and opportunities allow -- still would like Potosi w/snow.

A few ice park trips this season, with 1 planned already after Xmas.

Get back on rock.

But before any of those wishes can come to fruition -- I lost some mojo juju!!
I hope to recover that and soon!

  • Finish Ouray, San Juan, San Miguel and Boulder county ranked peaks (2, 8, 10, and 19 needed, respectively)
  • Hit 300 completed 12ers (105-110 needed... gonna be a stretch)
  • Chip away at Front Range 12ers
  • Reach 50%+ completion of Jeffco peaks by doing some more of the trespassy peaks (only need 2, but would love to do more)
  • Do at least one big Weminuche backpack
  • Do 5 or more big shuttles with Whiley
  • Climb some backcountry ice
  • Do more new 14er snowflakes
  • Finish my back tattoo, hopefully do my hips (cuz those straight suck), get as close to finishing my bodysuit as possible

Love seeing these goals, particularly from those that have summited so many 13ers! I feel very simple in comparison:

* Summit 20 unique 13ers
* Interview 5 people / couples for our podcast
* Summit at least one new 13er in each of the Sangres, Gores and Elks

Stay healthy and keep climbing stuff. Would love to get a couple new 14ers in 2026 but if I don't, that's OK, too.

Rooting for you Jay. You're an inspiration. Would love to do a hike sometime if we could ever make it happen (obviously health dependent for both of us).

Very simple for me in 2026. Climb the remaining Colorado Centennials:

Cathedral Peak
Thunder Pyramid
Pigeon Peak
Trinity Peak
Rio Grande Pyramid

If/when possible, add Dallas Peak and Teakettle to that list to make it fully legitimate. :-D

I have a few Sangres trips I'd like to do:

- Skin up the Altos in early spring
- The Cleveland group
- Tijeras
- Crestone traverse
- California and the two above Lily Lake
- Little Bear
- others as time allows (hopefully time allows for all of these!)

Plus I'd like to get some more climbing at the crags!

Had to take last year off for a health issue, hoping to get back out there in 2026. My goal is to make it to the Needle's dihedral and finally examine both the crossover and class 4 options in person. Maybe try both if time and energy allow, make it to the summit, then climb Humboldt a second time the next morning for sunrise pics of the completed Crestones after ten years and five trips up to South Colony lakes. Then move west to attempt Mt Wilson's southwest and El Diente's south slopes routes to finish the Wilson group.
We 1954 babies need more training time...hoping to get these old legs and lungs ready for another go at it through winter and spring. Bill, thanks for the Colorado Gives prompt and all you do with the website. Happy Holidays to our 14er community, folks.

My only goals is to finish next year. 28 unique peaks this year; lots of 3's and 4's to go. I've also got some ice climbing classes lined up, so maybe I'll shoot for at least one ice climbing outing in the wild. Open to experienced partners who don't mind joining a slow but plucky newb! \:D/

And at least one decent backpacking trip, maybe Four Pass Loop.
