FREE VIRTUAL PRESENTATION - Intro to Hiking Colorado 14ers
Nick Gianoutsos (mongoose here on the .com) is back, once again, to give his annual Intro to 14ering virtual presentation on behalf of 14ers.com.
When? May 14th from 6:00 - 7:30 p.m. MST
Who can attend? Everyone who’s interested!
What will you learn? Nick will present the foundations of hiking 14ers safely AND responsibly: where to begin, with what gear, and what the alpine environment entails. There will be a lot of opportunity for folks to ask questions during and after the presentation.
Who is Nick? Valued partner to 14ers.com, Nick is a 14er finisher with 150+ summits spanning all seasons, including some ski descents. He’s given back to the community in a number of ways over the years including hosting educational talks and volunteering with the Colorado Fourteeners Initiative.
Others in attendance will include some of the 14ers.com Facebook page admins as well as myself on behalf of the Colorado Fourteeners Initiative.
If you're not familiar with Zoom and if your browser/phone can handle it, I'd highly recommend joining about 10 minutes early to get any technical hiccups worked out.
