Lost poles, mp3 player & earbuds near Broken Hand Pass

Post by Mountain Ninja »

Yesterday (Sun. July 12) I dropped a cache for myself near the bottom of the talus field leading up to Broken Hand Pass. (South Colony Lakes side.) I couldn't find it on the way back.

Yes I marked it on my GPS but later learned that my GPS had been acting wonky all day and not following me precisely, so the waypoint was off. It was nowhere nearby.

If you happen to come across this cache and are willing to return the items to me, I will pay you handsomely for your efforts.

Cache includes:
Leki trekking poles, handles wrapped in a bag to ward off critters
Large zip-loc bag with mp3 player, black bose earbuds, and a couple bars
Gatorade

Please PM me if you can get these items back to me. Thank you!

Here's a pic I took after dropping it off near a large rock, just to the side of the trail:

If you can drop a pin on a map that is about where you think they are that would be helpful to anyone looking! I'll be up there in a week and keep an eye out for them if they are not already found by then

Great idea! Likely somewhere along the trail in the purple circle. And thank you!
