Grays/Torreys lower TH
Has there been any discussion about putting in a couple of Port-a-Potty-s at the trailhead by I-70? Lots of people use it in the summer and there was nothing last time I visited.

There was a discussion to put full bathrooms and even showers there along with an entire truck stop, but that idea got shot down.

Clear Creek County had a proposal for rezoning to add a truck stop on the south side of the Bakerville exit last December. The developers withdrew their application after the close of the comment period. The proposed truck stop recognized that area is the current 2WD trailhead for G&T and reserved a non-negligible parking area specifically for hikers. I submitted a comment mentioning that there were 50+ public spots, but that's looking at my email, not the application itself. But anyways, it's not like the Forest Service was considering adding amenities, it was something a private developer was willing to do.
