How best to wash down sleeping bag?

How best to wash down sleeping bag?

I searched, but couldn't find a thread on this. If covered before, apologies...please send the link.

Been putting this off, but after my last trip...it's definitely time.... :?

I googled how to wash a down sleeping bag and saw: bathtub, dry cleaners, laundromat, or regular house washing machine.

Was wondering what most people, on this site, do?

What detergent do you use?

How do you dry and fluff up and down?

You might look at this link from REI. Maybe you already saw this in your research. Further down the page there is information about washing your sleeping bag. They also partner with a bag laundering service and their link is embedded in the article.

Considering these guyz make $500 sleeping bags, I'd follow their advice:



Drying is clutch. Tons of dryer balls. Tons of time.
