Winter Access = Unknown

Anyone know what Willow Creek's Winter Access status typically is?

In Crestone, turn right (east) onto Galena Street and the road will turn to 2WD dirt, with approx. 2 miles to go.
I haven't tried, but it's only 2 miles from town, so you won't suffer much.

if you want to avoid the extra mileage due to the gate closure, you can go through (the southern part of) town to the end of Pine Cone Way. There is parking for a few cars there and a trail that links up to the Willow Creek trail within a couple hundred meters. That approach is detailed on a trip report on here somewhere, but just looking at google maps it's pretty obvious. I've parked there once in Feb, once in Mar, and never had an issue.

I've parked there twice for winter climbs and slept in my car both times in prep for early starts. No problem the first time. The second time, i had a couple yahoos show up and light off fireworks around 2am. Im not sure they new i was sleeping in my car and they left after about 10 minutes.
