Hello I am planning to hike Elbert the first time next month. I am thinking about staying at Sugar Loafin' campground the night before. Do you recommend this campground?
Thanks

Re: Sugar Loafin' campground
I stayed there many years ago and it worked out fine. Maybe someone who’s been there more recently can weigh in.
If you’re in the Leadville area, I highly recommend a visit to High Mountain Pies for pizza.

My phone double-posted. Sorry about that.
