camping at east dallas creek th?
we're doing sneffels from east dallas creek and are wondering if there is camping near / at the trailhead? it will be our first day back in state so we'd like to sleep high before heading in to the blue lakes area.

The one time I was there (Aug. '14?), it was a crowded vehicular free for all. There were a number of tents nestled in behind the vehicles. It wasn't the best place for a group camp hangout. Lower down had some promise, away from the ranches.

thanks. we're going to be doing it monday/tuesday, so hopefully we'll be able to get a space after the weekend traffic has cleared out.Monster5 wrote:The one time I was there (Aug.
