Camping on the 4wd road to the Huron peak TH?

Camping on the 4wd road to the Huron peak TH?
I am flying into Denver to hike my 1st 14er and am looking to see what the camping options look like on the road leading up to the trailhead for Huron Peak? We are renting a 4wd vehicle to get us up there. Most likely the fire ban will be in place when we get there July 26th so we are wondering if (Truck Camping) is a possibility? Also looking to see if there are any good fishing suggestions in that area. Thanks

You can camp at the trailhead itself or any number of places along the way to the trailhead.

There are some choice camping spots along Clear Creek just before you get to the TH. About 1/4 mile on the left before you get to the TH, there is a clearing by the remnants of the Banker Mine. An old mining road leads down from the mine, across the main road, and down to the creek. There are a couple of camping spots along the mining road. The creek has some small cutthroat, but I'm not sure if they're large enough to be entertaining.
