Mayflower Gulch

Post by big_red_pride »

Does anyone know if there is any camping allowed, or any spots even, at the Mayflower Gulch trailhead?

I would say you can camp along that road, it's largely national forest and it looks like there would be spots. There are random claims in there and some summit county land, though. Never hurts to double check with the ranger.

There are a couple of spots near the upper TH that you can camp at. They are very close to the parking spots so don't expect privacy.

Yeh, I was going to say that it's very public and busy, being literally right off the highway. I didn't remember any tent spots, but if others remember a few there must be.
