I have never skied in the month of August.. not that I have ever put any effort into trying, but I would like to do so this year if its possible.
Is there anywhere I can still ski some decent vertical drop? Is St Mary's my only option?
I haven't been up on the east side of the divide since early June-ish, so not sure on the snow status up there currently. Didn't look like any options from the Winter Park side last weekend.
Where can I still ski?

Mt Bancroft near st Mary's is usually skiable in August.
Some day our kids will study Clash lyrics in school.

Apache looked pretty good on Sunday. (sorry, it'll only upload sideways for some reason)

The east side of the Indian Peaks looks like there would be many good lines left.
I'm old, slow and fat. Unfortunately, those are my good qualities.

MAMMOTH MOUNTAIN SKI AREA is open through August 6th this year. So you can still ride the lift.
Consecutive months with at least one 13er or 14er: 100 months.

Re: Where can I still ski?
We skied Mammoth 2 weeks ago. Great fun. Crappy snow and skiing, but just skiing in July is fun regardless. They shut the lifts down at noon.
Re: Where can I still ski?
Rollins/Corona Pass is always a good option, and I've found that Challenger Glacier is often much better skiing in August and September that the much more popular Skyscraper Glacier
Re: Where can I still ski?
Challenger and Skyscraper are around 500-800 feet of good steep skiing. Also, St Marys is literally a pile of sh*t imo and there are many other more fun options for summer days. The other "glaciers" in CO are all fun although they are longer hikes (Lambs Slide, Tyndall, Andrews, Ptarmigan, and Isabelle/Navajo)

I may take a drive up Rollins/Loch Lomond area and take a peak.
I skied Parry in June but there was 0 feet of visibility at the summit so wasn't exactly a fun ski down.

Kilpacker basin, near the SW slopes route of Mt. Wilson, has quite a few sizeable snowfields, in addition to the north side of Wilson/El Diente. Snake couloir is also still holding some snow near the top
