First and Third Flatirons

Post by colingoodman »

Hello!

I’m looking for someone to show me and one other the 5.4 routes and proper down climbs on the first and the third flatirons. We’ve both done several of the easier scrambles in the flatirons (freeway, angel’s way, etc.) and could probably noodle ourselves up fine, but I would prefer some guidance.

Separately, I am happy to show anyone else the routes I do know. I would love to have some more scrambling friends in the area.

You'll probably have more luck on MountainProject.com or the Denver Social Climb group (on Facebook). I'm not much of a slab scrambler myself and I've only been up Freeway. Good luck!

Just an FYI, The Third is closed until July 31st (unless they open it early).

I'd join you before/ after work on an open route with the caveat of roping up if it's your first time on a new route. Send me a note.
