Backpacking Partners?

Post by Ghjhero »

Hey everyone!

My name is Josh and I'm currently up in Cheyenne, WY. In summer 2021 I backpacked the first 1000 miles of the CDT. This is the first summer since then that I'm going to be able to get back on trail and do some section hiking.

In July I'm planning to backpack a section I skipped in the San Juans. It'll be 140 miles over 7 days. I'm also planning on doing a section where the trail meets I-70 and then on to Grand Lake around Labor Day. I'd really like to find some friends who enjoy going backpacking as much as I do and want to come along for an adventure!

I do also enjoy climbing 14'ers and would be happy to go with some friends on those as well. I've got 10 under my belt so far and aiming to add a couple more this summer (which ones specifically are tbd).
