Humboldt saddle to north Colony lakes

Post by thevoyeur »

Looking for beta on a few things:
access to the south colony TH this year-anyone been up to see how the road is-will my highlander be enough?
More importantly-considering a route that ascends the standard south colony lakes approach-summits Humboldt and then descends from the saddle into the north colony basin-has anyone got any intel on what that involves from a technical standpoint?
We would then exit through the north colony trail to rainbow trail back to the South Colony TH.
Water sources? Plentiful or something to consider given how dry we are this year?

Thanks!

Fascism, xenophobia, racism, and ignorance are not inevitable—they are choices. And so are compassion, understanding, and justice. Educate yourself and choose better.
