Topo maps seem to show gendarmes/pinnacles. I'm assuming this short traverse is probably rotten. Anybody have any information on this?

Traverse- Blaurock & La Plata
Been looking for a while now for any beta on this short but mysterious traverse between Blaurock and the La Plata. But I'm not finding anything.
Topo maps seem to show gendarmes/pinnacles. I'm assuming this short traverse is probably rotten. Anybody have any information on this?

I believe I saw a video of this section as part of a larger traverse some years ago, but am struggling to find it. I've also been curious about it, report back!

Probably me -- I added it to MP as well. Went from the Willis Gulch TH up Hope Mountain, then traversed to La Plata over the ridgeline, down the standard route and ran the road back to Willis Gulch. This was the day after Leadville 100, which I was supposed to pace from Twin Lakes, but my runner missed the cutoff time,

Jedi has a report on here for traversing that one late fall, probably 14 years ago.

Edit: he went from Hope to Blaurock, then down Willis Gulch. So not past Blaurock.
