I can relate to that. My wife and I did Disappointment Peak (Tetons) years ago, planning to do the SW Couloir of Teewinot a day or so later. As we sat scanning the SW Couloir while descending Disappointment, a huge mass of rock cut loose and roared down the SW Couloir... I was transfixed for the 90 or so seconds it was tumbling, oblivious to the camera that was hanging on my neck. If you read the up front credits/info the department of transportation was filming this. I'm guessing this was a rock scaling operation.
