I think this is a grand idea... better than the
“Cows of Capitol” calendar that I first suggested.

And I don't mean to exclude women on this - I'm just not certain we have enough active female forum members to fill out all 12 months.
Does anybody else sometimes read something and their mind changes a word. When I first read the original post I thought it said "attractive" female forum members rather than active. I was what the ???

I thought Monster was going to have to go into witness protection.

I reread and had to laugh at my initial thoughts. My bad.

I did a calendar for my rugby club. It was a big hit and we sold them at our annual Man-pageant. You could get really creative with the talent portion if you went that route. As far as who would buy it, there’s a good target audience for this type of thing and I wouldn’t judge interest for sales based solely on whether anyone in the forum would want one. It’s a good idea if someone was actually serious about it.

Too bad it's not 2015. Surely, The Bros posted enough shirtless pics of themselves to fill a calendar.

Oh man, don't miss them at all.

Besides, if we're going to have shirtless shorties in there, didn't Marsters basically volunteer himself by starting this thread? Bonus: to my knowledge, he doesn't have nipple tattoos AND people don't lose IQ points when he opens his mouth.

AND if we're looking into existing pictures, why look further than this gem of a TR? https://www.14ers.com/php14ers/triprepo ... trip=13356

And back in 2014, if I recall, Jomah took a pretty freaking epic summit photo down in the San Juans.

Fun Fact: Colorado saw a 3% spike in newborn babies nine months after that TR was published.

Myself and several friends from this site have recently welcomed children into the world. Newborns and toddlers have a way of keeping us out of the mountains.
I've grown a lot as a person, especially in the horizontal directions.

How about 12 months of "The Dad Bods of 14ers.com?"

Okay, this. Take my money.

I guess I was stubborn. My wife got back on the rock when our first was 3 weeks old. When our first was 15 months old, I carried him and all my gear to the Meadows below the Grand. My wife and I climbed Cloudveil and South Teton while our friend watched our son. Our friend and I climbed the Exum and Irene's Arete while my wife watched our son. When I watched him, they hiked and relaxed. Our son was so bummed when we broke camp to head back down.

It got much more involved when our second was born, but our kids grew up climbing and still do. If you take time off climbing to spend with your kids, that's awesome. Kids deserve your time and love.
When life gets you down, climb!
